What a day for female boxing! Today’s Athena Camp brought together 62 talented female boxers representing 34 clubs from across 9 regions of England, a true showcase of the depth, diversity, and strength in the sport.

After a focused warm-up, the boxers split into groups to work through the session. Each group rotated between sparring, pad work, and bag drills, giving everyone quality rounds in the ring alongside technical and conditioning work.

From fresh-faced minors finding their feet to experienced youth and senior athletes sharpening their skills.

Among today’s attendees were some of the finest talents in the country, 11 current 2025 National Champions, made up of 5 National Schools Champions, 2 National Junior Champions, and 5 National Youth Champions. The line-up also featured England internationals, including a European silver and gold medallists, giving our aspiring athletes the rare opportunity to train alongside boxers who have competed and triumphed on some of the biggest stages in Europe.

Every athlete left sharper, stronger, and more connected to the growing network of female boxers pushing the sport forward.

Athena continues to prove that when women step into the ring, the future of boxing looks brighter than ever.
